Did you get a super car ride at the launch of Need for Speed Most Wanted Game

A collection of luxury supercars took to the streets of the capital last week, delivering the ultimate in commuter travel. These vehicles gathered in London for the public to hire and ride in, marking the launch of videogame, Need For Speed Most Wanted.

City workers were given the chance to see London in a different way, as the scheme encouraged the public to track down specially designed super car docking stations at sites including Waterloo and Covent Garden. These were secret settings, with commuters tweeting the location once they found it, before taking their seat for a one-off ride.

The cars, a Porsche 911 Carrera, Lamborghini LP560 Sypder, Mercedes SLS and BMW M3 were exact matches to those found in Most Wanted, with the scheme mimicking what takes place in the game; find the car and take a ride in it.

Need for Speed Most Wanted will be available from November 2nd, 2012 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita handheld entertainment system, PC, iOS and Android.
